Oneesha’s legal training commenced in 2007 when she joined the firm as a Paralegal in conveyancing practice and procedure in the preparation of deeds and other documents for various land and estate matters.
She pursued her career in law while working with the firm where she left in 2011 to attend the Hugh Wooding Law School and returned in 2013, after being admitted to practice, as an Associate in the Property and Estates Service Line. Oneesha became a Partner of the Firm in 2022 and has been the head of the firm’s Chaguanas branch since September 1st 2016.
Oneesha has gained vast experience in land law and probate practice including but not limited to general care and conduct in drawing and completing Deeds and Instruments of Conveyance/Transfer, Assignments, Leases, Mortgages, Releases/Discharges, Rectifications and Confirmations, Variations, Chattel Mortgages, Bills of Sale and the drafting of Wills. She has also had conduct of and provided the legal work and advice for several leasehold development schemes.
Oneesha has also conducted several training sessions and seminars at various financial institutions and other public institutions sharing her knowledge on the understanding of the conveyancing process including the different types of deeds and mortgages as well as estate planning including the making of Wills and other Testamentary documents.
