Karissa was admitted to practice in 2018 in Trinidad and Tobago and is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department having joined the firm in 2022.
Prior to her entry in the firm, Karissa worked for a period of four (4) years at the Office of the Attorney General as an Instructing Attorney-at-Law in the Chief State Solicitor’s Department representing the state in various constitutional and other civil legal proceedings.
In her role as Instructing Attorney, she is involved in numerous phases of case development for complex civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, drafting various Pleadings, Legal Correspondence, Written Submissions, Notices of Applications, Witness Statements, Affidavits and Legal Opinions.
